icon_01 Save to:

Select or enter the local folder path on your computer where scanned files will be saved. By default, scanned documents are saved to C:\Users\User\Documents\Extraction, but you can change the folder location or name if needed.

icon_02 Open File Explorer when complete:

Toggle this switch on to automatically open the destination folder in Windows File Explorer after the scan is finished.

icon_4 Application:

Select Plustek SmartCapture from the dropdown menu to enable automatic data extraction for scanned documents sent to this folder.

icon_5 Application Label:

Select a template label configured in SmartCapture, such as extraction, barcode, or invoice-EN. This allows you to apply the corresponding data extraction rules based on your purpose, whether you need to extract text (select Extraction) or capture barcode information (select Barcode).

icon_6 Output Folder Name:

Specify the name of the output folder where the extracted data (such as CSV files) will be saved.

icon_7 Import Application / Export Application:

Use these buttons to import or export your SmartCapture configuration (including templates, anchor points, and index fields). This allows you to easily back up your setup or deploy the exact same SmartCapture extraction settings across multiple workstations without manual reconfiguration.
