Is OF8xxx series suitable for scanning APS Film?

No, OF8xxx is only suitable for scanning 35 mm negative film strips and slides, we wouldn't recommend you to scan with APS film.

However, the pictures of APS film is smaller than 35mm film, if you have less amount of APS film, you can try to perform steps below to scan.

*please note that it has potential risk to damage the film roll, be careful and prepare the additional film holder for storage.

1. Removing APS film roll out of the APS cartidge.
2. Cut the film roll into the size that can fit in 35mm film strip holder (which came with Plustek film scanner package).
3. Load the cut film into 35 film strip holder and place in the scanner.
*Please ensure the film securely place in the film holder and flat on all corners.
4. Start preview scan.
5. Crop the size on preview mode
6. Perform final scan.
7. Store cut film in the additional film storage holder.
