The scanner doesn't work properly when I press the button. What should I do?

Please try the following steps:

  • 1. Make sure the scanner is turned on.
  • 2. Make sure Plustek OpticFim 135i software is installed on your computer properly .
  • 3. Disconnect your scanner from your computer, then reconnect it.
  • 4. If you use a USB hub, please connect the scanner directly to the computer.
  • 5. Try a different USB cable.
  • 6. Make sure you do not use a USB cable longer than 5ft (1.5m).
  • 7. Try using a different USB port on your computer.
