Plustek’s OpticFilm 8100 is a compact device for scanning 35mm slides and negatives. Designed for shutterbugs looking to digitise their cherished photographs, the scanner is ideal for producing high quality images on a computer for archiving, printing, enlarging, and sharing with friends and family.

The OpticFilm 8100 brings the successful award-winning formula of high quality features and low price of previous models up to date with key improvements. The main improvements over current Plustek OpticFilm scanners include an internal redesign and enhanced light source, helping to improve colour rendering while using less power. Native 64-bit hardware and software is also supported for better performance.
