Pesa aproximadamente 450 gramas, Plustek MobileOffice D600 é um scanner à cores dupla face em formato de A6 realmente portátil. O D600 foi especialmente projetado para converter todos os seus documentos de papel, cartões plásticos, cartões em relevo, carteiras de ID e prescripções em vários formatos digitais tais como arquivos JPG, BMP, TIF, Word, Excel, e PDF encontráveis etc em minutos.


A maior vantagem do D600 é a sua rapidez significativa e não perde velocidade mesmo quando a digitalização está em modo dupléx. Ele digitaliza documentos à velocidade de 19ppm com 300 dpi à cores e 55ppm com 300dpi em escala cinzenta. A velocidade do scanner aumenta quando se faz a digitalização de imagens a 70 ipm em 300 dpi escala cinzenta.

MobileOffice D600 suporta software OCR (Optical Character Reader) e ABBYY FineReader 6.0 Sprint Plus patenteado, que converte documentos digitalizados para arquivos PDF editáveis. Por isso, os usuários podem economizar tempo pesquisando informação a partir de uma piscina enorme de banco de dados digitais inserindo palavras-chaves ou frases.
